Chef Meredith began cooking as a child and has enjoyed creating culinary pleasures ever since. Meredith's elegant yet simple style allows her to offer a wide range of beautiful, healthful meals -- everything from comfort food to haute cuisine. She will use only the freshest local ingredients to craft innovative menus for you and yours. Meredith is a member of the American Personal Chef Association and has been trained through the American Personal Chef Institute. She has been certified in food safety by the National Restaurant Association as a ServSafe Manager.

my story

I moved to Athens in 1995 and fell in love with this vibrant, wonderful city. For 6 years, I worked in the hospitality industry as the Tour & Travel Manager for the Athens Convention & Visitors Bureau, sharing my admiration for Athens with the world. In my spare time, I sing with some local bands, Funkle Ester and Countdown to Ecstasy, and -- along with husband, Bryan, -- perform in a wedding band called The Highballs.

I always dreamed of owning my own business and my love of cooking pushed me toward the culinary profession. But the evenings and weekends required to open a restaurant would make it impossible for me to keep up with the bands. Starting a Personal Chef service was the ideal way for me to make my living as a chef and still keep hours that would allow for my musical endeavors and give me time to help my husband Bryan with his booking and entertainment business, Out of Bounds Productions.

I look forward to helping other Athenians reach their goals by establishing a healthier lifestyle, complete with time to follow aspirations. It gives me great satisfaction to provide that to a community that has given so much to me.
